After more than a decade away, Opium Lounge returns — metres from its original Cobern Street home. Hand-carved timber, sculpted bars, a curated collection of antique textiles and original art; an address that holds its atmosphere without effort.
A longstanding LGBTQ+-welcoming destination, Crew Bar anchors one end of the building. Opium occupies the rest with the ease of somewhere that has always known what it is. Whether the evening calls for restraint or revelry, both are welcome here.
